2020 Recipe for Perfect Vision by Kalyn Berg

A favorite recipe for a time when you need to fill your heart and nourish your vision for the future. Served best warm with those you love.

Ingredients:

1 cup of vulnerability

1/2 cup of bravery

1lb of perseverance

5 oz. compassion

1 box of humility

4 years of matching Halloween attire

1 15oz can of laughter

1 gallon of community

24 oz. of individuality

Dash of groove

Sprinkling playfulness

An eternity of love

Sprigs of imagination

1 large head of constant inspiration

Preparation:

Sauté vulnerability and bravery until tender. Mix well and continue cooking gently. In a large bowl, blend perseverance and humility to steer clear of stubborn self-pride, adding a dash of compassion to navigate life’s delicate obstacles. Fold in seeds of humorously themed Halloween attire to lighten the mixture - keep adding until your funny bone desires. Laughter will rise and expand its joy throughout the days.

In a separate bowl, combine community, whisked with individuality. Pour in playfulness and groove. Sprinkle in love - feel free to be heavy-handed for there is absolutely no limit to love and you can never add too much. Set the oven with imagination to free your soul. Season entire mixture with constant inspiration and bake for four years, testing often and adjusting patience needed to foster the beauty of this family.

Recipe Notes:

*remember to practice gratitude for each of the days spent together…they might end sooner than you think and you will have nothing but gratitude in your heart for the time you were fortunately given as a class, nurturing one another <3
